From my prediction yesterday, I thought it would rain more during the evening than it did. We got slight rain around 7 and 8, but I had predicted rain starting around 3 in the afternoon. We got .12 inches of precipitation over the course of the evening. It was clear skies in the early morning and then partly cloudy through the rest of the day. From the surface map and forecast below you can see that we are in the rain and T storms portion (orange marked lines around most of Plains and Midwest) of the map and a cold front and low pressure system approaching from the North. three were cumulus and cumulus congestus clouds most of the day This leads to my prediction that we will see that there will be more rain in the future from lake effect. We will also see it starting to lower in temperature from the warm weather we have had lately.

My prediction from yesterday that it would be about the same day in terms of no precipitation and clear skies was correct because of still being under the high pressure system dome.Today was a fairly normal day with no fronts coming into the area as you can see from the surface map below. There was 0 inches of precipitation and clear skies all day long with just some scattered clouds in the late afternoon. There is a cold front approaching from the north being a continental polar cold front, so I predict that in the next couple of days we will see some colder weather and may even get some showers.

My prediction from Friday that there will be a some slight rain for the weekend was partially true on Saturday as there was a significant amount of rain that night, but the cold front moved through relatively quickly and there was no precipitation today. It turned out to be a hot/humid day for the Eau Claire Marathon. The skies were clear all day and it was beautiful as I saw a lot of people getting outside and enjoying the weather. Based off of the surface map below I think we will see nice weather for tomorrow as we are under a high pressure system with no fronts near the Northern Wisconsin area.

My prediction from yesterday was correct that there was no real precipitation and that the continental polar cold front hasn't hit us yet. It was a nice day today with only some trace amount of precipitation in the very early morning left over from last night. It was partly cloudy in the morning, but it cleared up into the afternoon and evening. A pretty boring day weather wise, but my prediction for the weekend is that there will be a good bit of rain coming our way as the continental polar cold front moves over the Great Lakes. It should move past relatively quickly and clear up into Sunday.

My forecast from yesterday that we would have a fairly calm day with no real precipitation was correct. There was some slight rain as we are on the edge of the orange rain and thunderstorms portion of the forecast chart below. We got .03 inches of light rain in the late evening to be more specific. It was clear skies in the morning and partly cloudy with cumulus clouds for the rest of the day.I predict for Friday the 4th that there will be no precipitation as it looks like we will be moving out of the orange rain and thunderstorms are shown in the surface map below. There is an approaching low pressure system that looks like it might hit us this weekend though and probably bring some rain with it.

My prediction from Tuesday was that there would be no precipitation and the cold front would have moved past overnight. From the surface map you can see that we are still in the cold front and low pressure system. This has led to .18 inches of precipitation in the morning. The front moved out and the skies cleared up in the afternoon to evening. My prediction for tomorrow is that there will be sunny skies with no precipitation.

My forecast from yesterday wasn't that accurate as the low front didn't hit Eau Claire as fast as I thought it was. I was correct that the stationary front turned into a cold front, but again it didn't make it here today. Today we only saw .07 inches of precipitation and was partly cloudy randomly throughout the day. As you can see from the radar below most of the rain hit in the La Crosse area just barely going through Eau Claire. This also matches with the yellow circle in the middle of the country meaning severe thunderstorms. My prediction for tomorrow is that the upcoming low pressure system and cold front will move in and be gone before tomorrow and that there will be no real precipitation. There might be some into the midnight, but little to none.

My forecast from Saturday was pretty accurate as there was no precipitation and clear skies all day. Today we are under a high pressure system still with fairly calm weather except for a faster wind coming out of the South. Like I stated earlier there was no precipitation and there were clear skies all day long. My prediction for tomorrow are that this low pressure system (continental polar) will bring a heavy rain and possible thunderstorms in through most of the day. You can see below it is a stationary front over Minnesota which mean the cold and warm masses are at a stand still together. I believe this will turn into a cold front over Wisconsin by tomorrow.

The forecast that I had yesterday was pretty accurate as there are no fronts and a high pressure system over most of the Midwest. There was no precipitation and clear skies all day. Nothing real mention-able about this Saturday. My prediction for Monday is that there will be nothing to look for in terms of weather as it looks like we will be under a high pressure dome for a bit of time now. It looks like there are no real fronts approaching the area. Should be good weather with clear skies starting off the month of May.

My prediction from yesterday that yesterday was half correct, the cold front moved passed but brought no precipitation. Today we are under a warm front that looks like it came from a continental tropical air mass. From the image below you can see that is right over top of our area of the state. It brought us a bit of warmth that we haven't seen in awhile. There was no precipitation as expected, but it was a cloudy day out there with overcast throughout. My prediction for Saturday is that we will be under the high pressure system coming from the North West (continental polar) and there will be no real notable weather.

My forecast from yesterday that we would see the same calm sunny day was correct. Although I said we would be under a high pressure system was not really accurate as it looks like from the map below that we are under a low pressure system that is bringing some rain along the cold/warm front going over the plains. Today we are under a continental polar cold front that passed through the day. It was clear in the morning and afternoon and then became partly cloudy into the evening. My prediction for tomorrow will that this low continental polar pressure system will pass through bringing no real mention able weather besides maybe a few light showers.

My forecast was accurate from yesterday as we are now under that high pressure system dome. And it was about the same weather as we saw on Tuesday. You can see that the isobars are farther apart causing the weak wind speed of 4 miles per hour. It was a clear sunny day with 0 inches of precipitation. Nothing weather related to discuss today. My prediction for tomorrow is that we will continue to be under this high pressure system coming from the North, and we will have the same weather that we saw today.

As my prediction said yesterday, today there was 0 inches of precipitation and clear skies with some scattered cirrus clouds throughout the day. My forecast for tomorrow is that we will seem some clear skies as the rain (seen on the radar below) in Northern Minnesota will dissipate before it gets to us. It should bring us into a high pressure system as the low one moves out and to the Southeast.

Like I said yesterday today was about the exact same as it was Sunday with the low pressure system not reaching us yet. There was no precipitation as you can see Wisconsin is in the clear in-between to areas of low pressure showers and thunderstorms. It was a clear beautiful one out there all day. My prediction for tomorrow is that this continental polar front will be over Eau Claire and bring us a bit cooler weather than we are experiencing today. I don't believe any precipitation will come with it tomorrow though and it should be another clear nice day here.

The forecast I had for today from Friday was about exactly correct with us being under a high pressure system bringing us pretty boring weather. My prediction from There was again 0 inches of precipitation and clear skies all day long with no noticeable weather. From the forecast map below tomorrow should be about a twin of today with the low pressure system coming from the North not reaching Eau Claire for another day or two.

Today was a pretty normal day with no precipitation and calm winds from the Southwest. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and again another nicer day that we deserve. My prediction for Sunday is that we will have no precipitation and will continue to be under this high pressure dome that is bringing us this nice temperature weather.

My prediction from Wednesday was that there would be about the same normal day that it was and that is correct with us still being under the same pressure system. Today there were no clouds and no precipitation and was a pretty fair day with a average temperature in the 40's. My forecast for Friday is that it will be the same day as today with the huge high pressure system over most of the country besides the Southwest region.

My prediction from yesterday was correct, but there was even less lake effect precipitation than I had anticipated. Today we saw overcast all day with trace amounts of precipitation and snowfall as it was still cold enough today and we were getting winds from the Northeast bringing in some lake effect. My prediction for tomorrow is that there will be cooler weather like today with no precipitation and clearer out.

My prediction from yesterday that the snow would dissipate was correct, but we actually saw an increase in temperature instead of a decrease like I predicted. Today we saw no precipitation with the rain from the Great Lakes only hitting the top portion of the state. It was overcast in the morning then partly cloudy to scattered throughout the rest of the day. My prediction for Wednesday is that we will get some lake effect precipitation, but nothing too heavy.

I forecasted for today was that the snow would move passed which was fairly accurate and the humidity did drop a little bit. There was .60 inches of snow that we got in the morning leftover from yesterday. There was also overcast all day with some cumulus clouds. My forecast for tomorrow is that the snow from Northern Wisconsin will dissipate over the course of the night and not reach Eau Claire. I think that the humidity will go done and we will see a slight decrease in temperature. We will be under this high pressure system for a bit of time now as well bringing us some fairly normal weather.

My prediction for the weekend was a bit wrong because I didn't think there was going to be as much snow as there actually was, but I didn't look at this same map below so I didn't know the forecast for snow I just was looking at the cold front coming in. We received .22 inches in precipitation and 3.80 inches of snowfall over the course of the whole day today. This was an un-welcomed winter storm in mid April. There was light snow over the course of the morning and afternoon, but it increased in the afternoon when most of the snowfall occurred. My prediction for tomorrow is that we will see some remaining snow come through, but we will get to that outer edge of snow shown on the forecast map below and the humidity will start to decrease as this lake effect snow starts to die down.

There was .20 inches of precipitation and 1.30 inches of snowfall and overcast all day which brought light rain in the morning and light snow into the night. Today we saw high winds coming out of the Northeast which bring the worst coldest winds making it feel colder than it actually was today. My prediction for this weekend is that this cold front will pass through and it should bring some precipitation. If the weather cools down I think it will be some slight snow, but if it will not then there should be some rain.
